About Jack Tuttle Snell-Ryan
Jack Tuttle Snell-Ryan’s practice explores sound, trance, and contemporary culture through the conduits of sonic theory, sculpture, and drawing.

He studied at Hunter College (NY) and received an MFA with Distinction from the University of Georgia (Athens).

Snell-Ryan’s work has been exhibited at The Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, The Phillips Collection, Dublin Electronics Arts Festival, University of California, The American University Museum, The Palace of Fine Arts–Ministry of Culture, Ausstellungsraum Klingental, Maison Laurentine, Brooks Museum, Hunter Museum, The Frist Center, Newark Museum, as well as the Maryland Institute College of Art.

He has lectured and presented research at Syracuse University, Herron College of Art, Agnes Scott College, Drew University, University of Memphis, University of Georgia, University of California San Diego, Lewis and Clarke College, and recently with Oxford University Press in collaboration with Raisanj University in Bombay and the Royal College of Art.
